Control room project of the year

Eligible:

examples of companies using control room technology. 
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Corporate project of the year 

Eligible:

examples of companies using pro-AV technology within banking, large corporate, pharmaceutical, telecoms, utilities and energy sectors. This is not for corporate events, only installations in corporate environments such as auditoriums/conference centres.
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world

Retail project of the year

Eligible:

examples of companies using pro-AV in a retail environment. 
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Education project of the year

Eligible:

open to schools and those in Higher, primary, secondary, Further Education and auditoriums covering applications such as lecture capture and distance learning. There are no restrictions on the nature of the project other than to stress it must have an overriding pro audio visual aim.
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world.
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project.

Training programme of the year

Eligible:

open to any end user company carrying out training to support pro-AV within the business. There are no restrictions on the nature of the project other than to stress it must have an overriding pro audio visual aim. 
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the programme (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Public services project of the year 

Eligible:

open to any company in the public services arena (government, healthcare/medical, transport, defence, emergency services) supporting pro AV within the business. There are no restrictions on the nature of the project other than to stress it must have an overriding pro audio visual aim. 
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the programme (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Live event of the year

Eligible:

this category aims to attract the newest technical ideas and is open to a wide range of events awards ceremonies, experiential events, tours, corporate events, opening and closing ceremonies, sponsored events, sales conferences, product launches, exhibition events, music events, outdoor events and festivals etc.
 

Who should enter:

installers, manufacturers, end users, production companies, rental and staging companies.
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Entertainment venue of the year

Eligible:

open to those operating AV in a range of environments, venues, cinema, visitor attractions – and which are open to the public (museums, theme parks, casinos, cinemas, theatres and auditoriums)
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Broadcast/media project of the year

Eligible:

open to those operating AV within the broadcast and media sectors (studio, televised event).
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world.
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Leisure/hospitality project of the year (NEW)

Eligible:

open to those operating AV within the leisure / hospitality sectors including houses of worship, sports and leisure facilities, bars/restaurants, hotels, stadia.
 

Who should enter:

integrators, manufacturers, end user customers, consultants from anywhere in the world.
 

What judges are looking for:

project objectives, details of systems put in place, effectiveness of project management, ROIs or other measures of success. Entries must include a user assessment of the value and effectiveness of the project (including evidence from the customer as text and/or video).

Criteria

Entrants will be asked to submit the following information:
Name of project
Date project delivered (1/2/15 – 1/5/16)
Brief explanation of project (100-150 words)
Tell us why it should win an Award (100-150words)
Evidence of technological innovation (500 words)
Commercial success / increase in business (500 words)
Customer assessment (evidence of the project’s success) (500 words)
Summary of client needs and how they were met (500 words)
