AV service team of the year

Who should enter:

open to in-house and contractor teams which have been on site for a minimum of 24 months servicing the same client.
 

What judges are looking for:

Clear and consistent results from delivering AV support and solutions to internal client(s), as well as managing external suppliers to install specific projects to brief, deadline and budget.
 

Criteria

Entrants will be asked to submit the following information:
Tell us why you should win an Award (200 words)
Summary of innovation (marketing, technology, or application) (200 words)
Services delivered and their effectiveness (200 words)
Examples of innovation (200 words)
Evidence of user / customer satisfaction (200 words)

AV professional of the year

Who should enter:

from the unsung heroes of AV who may not usually be recognised to those who have distinguished themselves over the past year or years (including consultants and end users).
 

What judges are looking for:

Examples of outstanding contribution by an individual to a project or company.
 

Criteria

Entrants will be asked to submit the following information:
Tell us why they should win an Award (350 words)
Skills (200 words)
Summary of contribution (200 words)
Performance/achievement (200 words)
Business/project development (200 words)

European CTS Holder of the Year (NEW)

Purpose

The InfoComm CTS Holder Award calls attention to the AV industry by recognizing Certified Technology Specialist™ holders (CTS®, CTS-D® and/or CTS-I®) in Europe, who are achieving rewarding and successful careers in the audiovisual and information communications industries.
 

Program Summary

InfoComm International in tandem with the AV Awards judges will honor one CTS holder (CTS, CTS-D and/or CTS-I) who has distinguished themselves in the European AV industry. This award is designed to recognise individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to their business/organisation and to the industry and have displayed noteworthy leadership and initiative.
 

Award

The award will be given this September at the AV Awards 2016 in London.  Award winner(s) or appropriate representative of the winning company/individual will attend and be recognised in front of a prestigious group of AV professionals. 
 

Eligibility

This award is open to all current InfoComm CTS holders (CTS, CTS-D and/or CTS-I) within Europe. Award judges are not eligible.  Previous award winners are not eligible for this award.
 

Criteria for Judging

Nominations will be judged solely on the content provided on the award application and entrants must be able to provide examples of instances in which they:  demonstrate exceptional experience in routinely meeting or exceeding client and company expectations, apply knowledge of CTS certification and best practices.  InfoComm International will review all entrants and an Awards Committee will draw up a shortlist to be put to the official AV Awards Judges who will make the final decision at their discretion.  The Awards Committee reserves the right to withdraw an award for a given year if there are not sufficient nominations to determine an appropriate winner.

 

Award Submission Requirements

CTS holders can be nominated by a colleague, or nominate themselves.  The nominator should fill out the attached form and email it to rachael.hamilton@avmag.co.uk. Not all questions may apply. 250-500 word answers are appropriate, but longer answers are acceptable. Applications must be received by Friday, June 24, 2016. A shortlist will be drawn up and those nominated will be invited by InfoComm International to attend the AV Awards ceremony on September 30, 2016. Upon receipt, applications become the property of InfoComm International. Applications will not be returned to applicants. Late applications will not be accepted.
